Power Line notes an incredibly lame SOTU summary from the Washington Post.

Maybe Washington Post Staff Writers Michael A. Fletcher and Peter Baker should try listening to speeches with the volume turned up next time.
UPDATE: Looks like Peter Baker has admitted his error and apologized. Good man. I’m sure he’s learned from the experience.
But, you know, the editors really should’ve caught that before it went into print.
Ah, well, but I’m just being grumpy now. There was never any conspiracy here, just a reporter who made a very public mistake and apologized for it at the first public opportunity. Which is a lot more than I can say for other news media figures who’ve made far worse mistakes.
