A couple random things…
Volkswagen has a clever and fairly cool commercial starrying Gene Kelly. Sort of. Some might quibble, but I agree with Apothecary’s Drawer – it’s a neat idea and a respectful tribute to the original. Watch the ad before you pass judgement.
I have to admit that I’m intrigued by the new Kojak series. I was a little too young to properly appreciate the original series (and my Dad preferred Baretta), but I’m sure Telly Savalis’ shiny head will be back on TV again soon.
Apparently $600 single-gear bikes with no brakes(!) are all the rage these days. I had one of those when I was 8 years old, except mine came from Toys R’ Us, had a banana seat, and included coaster brakes. And it didn’t cost $600. Coaster brakes ruled. This comes to you via the Friendly Folks at Fark.
