Gerald Ford was always sort of a curiosity to me. I’ve always been interested in contingency plans like the order of
succession, so the fact that he was the only unelected President was
always intriguing to me.
I was only three years old when he assumed the Presidency after Watergate, so I have no clear memories of his time in office. Only as a former President seen mostly at state funerals and special events. Even so, I always kind of liked the guy. He was a good man who did his best in a very
